I know its ridiculously late after post, but my site started going crazy a few days before Halloween, and then I played catch up the following days, trying to remake all the posts I had lost. This one is going to be an official slacker late post, and many apologizes in advance, but I just had to share our family on Halloween. We ended up driving to Orlando, to do a block party they do at my grandparents neighborhood each and every year.It was a lot of fun, and of course the kids loved it and had a blast and then we did the door to door thing for a few hours, I was really impressed the majority of the neighborhood really went all out with decorating!I do think this next year we will be starting our own tradition at our house.

Husband (as himself) and I. I was Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Baby E the “Puppy”

How cute is his little face? He was absolutely the sweetest puppy that night! The little spot on his nose just melts my heart. My sweet baby boy!

And then of course the entire family, (except the photographer!)

Husband, Baby E, Princess Elsa (also known as Miss A.) and Mighty M (as Bloody Mary.)

I was torn on weather to let Mighty M goes as Bloody Mary, but I made her do her research on who Bloody Mary is before we went and made her costume. (Thank you Goodwill) for another awesome $5.99 costume deal. My sister did Mighty M’s makeup this year. Which helped a lot since I was busy getting some dips together for the block party. Overall our Halloween was a success! The kids made out with a ton of candy that Daddy helped them polish off and then we put the rest up. Shortly after Halloween we all got sick and by we all I mean Miss A, Mighty M and myself, (I’m still the only one battling this horrible cold.) and Husband and Baby E managed to get by without getting sick.

What did everyone else do for Halloween?

I love the makeup on that Bloody Mary costume. Very impressive!

I’m pretty sure my neighborhood was the statistical outlier this Halloween — we had maybe 50 trick-or-treaters, probably 20 of them little girls, but not a single one was dressed up as Elsa from the latest Disney hit movie “Frozen.” Crazy! (Although it did rain from 7:45pm on, so maybe we had a few Elsa’s in the neighborhood who dressed up but didn’t go out, or who went home before visiting us in costume…?)
