This is a quick easy recipe that we found the other day, it was so simple I kinda second guessed if it would work or not, but it did and the results are in my kids all gave it the thumbs up yum of approval!
What you need for this quick and easy and delicious recipe:
This yielded a bit over 2 dozen cookies, so if you’re looking for a smaller size I’m sure you can just cut the recipe in half.
2 cups of sugar
2 cups of peanut butter (we used creamy, I’m sure crunchy works too.)
Mix all ingredients with a mixer until its the texture of play-dough. Then I took a teaspoon and measured each one out on a baking pan lined with tin foil, I also buttered the tin foil between each round of baking, seamed to work great cookies slid right off after cooling!
After I lined them in their rows I went and and with a fork I made X’s on the cookies as I mashed them down.
Bake at 350° for no longer than 13 minutes.
This was such a great, quick recipe using stuff we already have on hand. I can’t wait to bring it to our family Thanksgiving gathering! I also shared some with my neighbor next door as she was heading out of town for Thanksgiving.
Let me know what you think of this simple recipe!
